The LEGENDARY album by Iron Maiden, released in 1986!

For millions of people around the world, and especially the Mid-Gen Xers, this is one of, if not, THE best and definitive Iron Maiden album.

There was just something so magical about every aspect of Somewhere in Time! The music, the artwork, the futuristic imagery, cyborg Eddie! The mid-80s were awesome and epic. Many will argue it was peak civilization! We had the best metal, rock, top 40, R&B, rap, the remnants of disco and classic rock as they created new genres of music. With film and writing, the future felt like it was around the corner, and this reflected back to us with The Terminator, Blade Runner, Back to the Future, They Live, Contact, Enders Game, V for Vendetta, 1984, and ET! Half of us expected to see during our lifetimes space travel and discovery of alien species, or a dystopian horror of machine dominance over humanity.

And in the middle of that, exhausted by the World Slavery Tour, and driven to almost madness by the schedule inflicted by the Sheriff of Huddersfield, Iron Maiden produced an unexpected, barrier-shattering MASTERPIECE!

The very first note of the album - a hard strum of the E power chord on bass with the low rumbling synth to accompany it! Shakes the floor and your very soul! Followed immediately by a twin lead attack of the absolute masters, on top of their game- Adrian Smith and Dave Murray!

You're not wondering where either is going; you are stunned by where Maiden just took you! You can't believe they had the balls to do it, take you there, and create a wild. Sinister, futureal landscape as you hang on every note, begging for the next one!

•Adrian's contributions were immense and amazing! He gave us Wasted Years- detailing the life of a musician on the road, away from home and the ones you love, Sea of Madness- a punishing collection of furious riffage and melodic solos, and Stranger in a Strange Land- a short epic that illustrates the story of shipwrecked explorers in the arctic, and the mystery behind a total loss of life, accompanied by crunching Rhythm guitars, haunting synths, and absolutely EPIC leads by Adrian.

•Steve contributions were immense , as always! Caught Somewhere in Time, Heavan Can Wait (featured in 8 tours) , Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, and the amazing and under-appreciated epic Alexander the Great (which many of us waited 38 years to hear live!).

•Bruce worn out, as weve learned from the various documentaries. So, although he doesn't have writing credits, the Air Raid Siren delivered the absolute best vocal performance of his life! As he belts out one amazing chorus after another- CSIT, Wasted Years, Heavan Can Wait. Alexander the Great, and the rest of them!

We love this album! It has been a longtime dream to record this full album to honor Iron Maiden! We also want to share our love for this masterpiece with as many other musicians as we can.
